Jorge Barbontin

My time at Pace was uneventful; I was pretty quiet and darn near invisible. Sports was not my thing... I learned that since I got cut from Mrs. Tandy's 6th grade basketball team at First Baptist in Hialeah. And at St. John's I learned baseball wasn't my thing; the coach dropped me after the first practice. I didn't do parties either. After high school I joined the Marine Corps. In 1989 I got my BA in Business Management at St. Thomas, and in 2003 I got my MBA from UM. Now I am the Property Manager of the Airport Corporate Center just west of Miami International Airport. I am happily married to Jane (Hialeah High '81).
